Cut/Weld/Fabricator

Responsibilities:       

  • Demonstrates positive/disciplined behavior both on a personal and business level.
  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical, communication and welding problem solving and assembly skills.
  • Work as a liaison between production and engineering, communicate issues and help resolve problems as they arise.
  • Ability to initiate positive conversation with internal customers, as well as fellow associates.
  • Will be responsible for incoming cab quality inspections from supplier.
  • Will be responsible for laying out holes and completing proper drilling/cut outs in cabs for customer driven options.
  • Will be required on how to set-up use welders, cranes, pneumatic and hand tools.
  • Must be able to fabricate and modify existing and new layouts for seat brackets, dashes, backrests, etc. 
  • Must be a self-starter and self-motivated, ability to multi task, have effective time management skills and quality driven.
  • Help train new associates, and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be safety oriented.

 

Education:                  

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical education desired.

 

Experience:                

  • The ideal candidate would have 3 years of experience in MIG/TIG welding on Aluminum and Steel.
  • Must be able to obtain required welding certification within 90 days of starting the position.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics
