Rosenbauer Awarded Plano Order

Wyoming, MN - August 19, 2009 - Rosenbauer recently was awarded an order from the Plano Fire Department in Texas for five pumpers - to be built at the General Division in Wyoming, MN - and two aerials - to be built at the Central Division in Lyons, SD. Delivery of the first units will begin in December 2010.
All five Rosenbauer pumpers will have extreme-duty extruded aluminum bodies with rescue style compartments and Robinson roll-up doors built on Spartan EMFD 10" raised roof chassis with Cummins ISL-400 motors and Allison 3000EVS retarder transmissions.

Furnished with Waterous CXK rear-mount 1250 GPM pumps, each Rosenbauer pumper was designed with a 500-gallon "L" style poly tank with Foam Pro 2002 Class A foam systems and two front bumper crosslays.

The two Rosenbauer aerials will be built on CHASSIS and have BODY and FEATURES.

The pumpers and aerials were sold by Rosenbauer dealer Ed Beene of Emergency Vehicles of Texas in Fort Worth, TX.
