The 12-gauge, stainless steel, severe-duty Rosenbauer bodies each provide more than 280 cubic-feet in body compartment storage space and include an array of custom slide-out trays, pull-out tool boards, roll-out-and-down trays, slide-out crosslay trays inside the forward transverse compartment, all designed to South Trail's precise requirements with Rosenbauer's engineering staff.
Each Rosenbauer pumper is furnished with a Hale rear-mounted RSD single-stage pump rated at 1,500 GPM and 750-gallon poly tank. The rear-mount pump controls are located at the street side rear compartment of both bodies. In addition to the internally-stored crosslays, a Hannay electric rewind booster reel accompanies each vehicle, which is mounted between the frame rails inside the chassis 24" front bumper extensions. Each reel contains 100' of ¾" booster hose. Two 6" x 10' suction hoses are stored above the curbside compartments paying out from the rear of the body.

One unit has a 193" wheelbase to allow it to fit into an older station, while the other has a 205" wheelbase. Powered by Cummins ISC-330 motors, each unit has an Allison 3000EVS transmission and a full-transverse floor-to-ceiling ALS compartment with interior/exterior access.
