Lyons, SD - June 10, 2009 - New Tecumseth Fire Rescue in Beeton, ON recently placed into service two highly-customized Rosenbauer America stainless steel Centurion rescue-pumpers.
Built at Rosenbauer's Central Division in Lyons, SD, each pumper is equipped with a Waterous CSUC10 single-stage pump rated at 1,750 GPM, a 750-gallon UPF poly water tank and a 50-gallon foam cell, which supplies a FoamPro 2002 system. The pump module for each apparatus is fully-enclosed behind R-O-M roll-up doors.
The trucks are on the Spartan MetroStar MFD chassis with a 10" raised roof and powered by Cummins ISC-400 motors with Allison 3000EVS transmissions. Each chassis is equipped with ABS and rollover stability control, as well as an 18,000 lb. front axle and 24,000 rear axle.
Each vehicle has the Weldon V-Mux electrical system, a 15kW SmartPower hydraulic generator, a Command Light model CL607 light tower and a 9,000 lb. portable winch with four receiver points.
The apparatus, which was displayed at the annual Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs convention in Toronto, was sold by Brian Innis of Res-Q-Tech in Woodstock, ON.
