Wildland and Urban Interface Pumpers

Centurion Wildland is a formed aluminum body. Using the same modular body construction as our pumper Centurion body models. This apparatus has a 750 gallon poly booster tank, high pressure reels in the left and right cab steps, a 1,000 GPM Rosenbauer NH pump. Full pump-and-roll capabilities from the cab with a front bumper mounted turret.
Rosenbauer produces a diverse line of Wildland fire apparatus. The most versatile apparatus for the urban interface customer is the Timberwolf. Built on an International 4400 four-door 4x4 chassis. Our apparatus offers extended front bumper with crosslay, mounted remote bumper monitor, high-pressue booster reels recessed in cab steps, rescue tool storage with adjustable shelves and ground ladder storage options.
Built to protect from the threat of hot embers on the roadway, the Timberwolf fire apparatus has the option of a ground protection system. Keeping your apparatus safe the ground protection nozzles make use of the pump-n-roll capability. Nozzles are engineered in front of the two front wheels, rear dual wheels and above the cab roof line for overhead protection. The Timberwolf fire apparatus features flip-down access steps that allow firefighters to step-up and access tool storage safely.
Timberwolf brings power to any wildland fire! The muscle behind the Timberwolf fire apparatus is the Rosenbauer NH rear mounted pump. When you arrive on-scene with a Rosenbauer Timberwolf you've brought the full capacity to pump a Class A structure fire at 1250 GPM producing 600 PSI. The NH pumps enough pressure to use both the 2.5" discharge line along side the Hi-Pressure Booster Reel at the same time. Pump controls are located in the rear compartment adjacent to the pump, with easy to read gauges and indicator switches and from inside the cab between the driver and officer's position.
Trucks that look the same in exterior construction aren't always what they seem. Customizing truck builds to meeting agency needs is a daily achievement at Rosenbauer. Protecting the homes and property of thousands of Americans in urban interface areas is the primary role of these apparatus. Built to the same fire suppression standard as the Cal Fire with heavy duty 4x4 suspensions, and extruded durable aluminum body.
Extra heavy severe duty wildland units feature a 500 GPM JSP fire pump, high pressure booster reel, tool storage, radio storage under cab step, SCBA bottle storage in the wheel wells, long handled tool storage between hosebeds, preconnect in front bumper, LED warning upper and lower light systems.
Wildland 34. Forestry Type 3 Engine. International 7400 four-door, four-wheel drive. 330 Hp engine. Industry exclusive Flex-Star Off-Road Body Mounts. Allow 18" of body/pumphouse to frame flexing with minimal body stress, Darley JMP 500 GPM two-stage pump. Rosenbauer supplies the nation's busiest state foresty divsion with their wildland fire appparatus. Durabilty, durabilty, durabilty is the key factor in engineering the units that respond to thousands of acres of wildfires every year on the American west coast. Each apparatus has to be built and tested to meet the strict guidlines of the agency.
If your department needs an interface pumper without the ultra rugged 4x4 drive equipment, a similar apparatus can be built on a lower profile 2x4 chassis. Have all the fire suppression equipment and storage capabilities on a more customer accessorized version. Adding features such as bumper turrets, aluminum wheels, stainless steel reflective body trim, and aluminum diamond plate cab access steps are available on wildland units.
Rosenbauer's wildland fire apparatus are built using time tested methods. Our sub-frames are hot dipped galvanized to protect against the harsh environment. Choice of body materials between aluminum or stainless steel warranted for a minimum of 10 years. High clearance vehicles with a variety of equipment options. Hard suction storage can be either on the exterior of the body or inside the body next to the tank.

GREEN Star Idle Reduction Technology

Reduce Fuel Consumption
Nationally, 80% of runs are EMS or non-Fire related calls. Chassis diesel engines use up to 1.5 gallons of fuel per hour idling. Save up to 1.25 gallons of fuel using the GREEN Star™ idle reduction technology system. Our system maintains apparatus 12 volt system, 120 volt system and chassis heating and cooling systems when the fire pump is not engaged.

Meeting EPA Emission Standards
To comply with the EPA's revised emission standards, OEM chassis manufacturers are using Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) that can become clogged due to frequent idling. DPF service can cost as much as $5,000 per truck. Rosenbauer's GREEN Star™ system utilizes an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) to bypass the main chassis engine, reducing the strain on the DPF, saving thousands in fuel expenses and service fees.

Go Green! Recieve Some Green
Auxiliary Power Units (APU) are eligible in many states for up to 100% reimbursement from Clean Diesel Grant program funds. Contact your local Rosenbauer for assistance finding grants available in your area.

Reduces operating costs
Fuel, oil changes, DPF service all can cost into the thousands. Start saving through the use of idle reduction technology by Rosenbauer.
